I'm new! Where should I start?
Our classes are beginner-friendly because they adapt to your unique pace. We honor your body and your choices here.
If you feel shy or uncertain at first, it can make sense to start with a Mild class before moving on to something Spicy, but you are welcome to jump right into the spicier classes if you're feeling bold!
What do the different spice levels mean?
The spice levels help you choose which classes you'll be most comfortable with. They are not an indication of how much skill or experience is required—beginners are welcome in any class!
Mild (1/3) - Language is entirely "Safe for Work" and there is no music. You could take this class with your coworkers and it wouldn’t feel weird.
Medium (2/3) - The teacher will avoid swearing, music will be less explicit, and verbal cues won't be erotic. There may be some reference to sensual energy and connecting to your body through touch.
Spicy (3/3) - The teacher will use some provocative language, the playlist most likely will include songs with explicit lyrics, and some verbal cues will explicitly celebrate eroticism, feminine energy, and the female body.
What equipment do I need?
For all classes, you’ll need a little space to move comfortably, internet access, and Zoom. If the class uses music, Spotify Premium is strongly recommended but not required. Without Spotify Premium, you won’t be able to use the curated playlist, so feel free to play any music that makes your body happy.
For the best sound quality, we suggest playing your music from a different device than the one you're using for Zoom.
Things that can make your experience even more enjoyable:
A yoga mat or soft surface
Clothing that lets you move freely
Yoga blocks, a strap, and/or a pillow for extra support
Dim lighting, candles, or anything that helps you create a cozy, empowering atmosphere
What is embodied dance?
Embodied dance is movement that comes from how you feel, not how you think you should look. There’s no choreography to memorize and no “right” way to move. You just follow gentle prompts, listen to your body, and let yourself play. It’s joyful, expressive, and wonderfully freeing.
Do I need any dance experience?
Nope. None. Zero. These classes are built for real bodies, real energy levels, and real life. If you can breathe, you can move with us.
What if I feel shy?
Totally normal! Most women feel that way at first. We move gently, we laugh, we get a little messy, and before you know it, you're having fun.
Do I have to turn my camera on?
During the movement portion of class, you choose the level of visibility that feels comfortable. Camera on, off, at an angle that doesn't show your whole body—you get to decide. We do ask that you turn your camera on for at least the check-in part of class at the beginning, though.
What should I wear?
Anything you can move in. Exercise clothes, pajamas, flowy fabrics, lingerie—whatever makes you feel good.

-Madonna
"I love that I can take class from anywhere with an internet connection without having to go somewhere in person. Perfect for a small-town girl like me!"
